Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• Desktop App — the RIDDEV Studios desktop software for creating, editing, and exporting GTA V / FiveM assets (vehicle liveries, textures, EUP clothing, weapons, resource merging, and FiveM deployment tooling).
• Marketplace — the RIDDEV Studios digital storefront where Creators list and sell FiveM resources and where Customers purchase or download them.
• Creator — a User who has applied for and been approved to upload and sell products on the Marketplace.
• Customer — a User who purchases, downloads, or licenses products from the Marketplace.
• Content — any scripts, maps (MLOs), vehicles, EUP clothing, weapons, audio files, textures, models, code, images, videos, documentation, or other files uploaded to or distributed through the Services.
• License — the limited, non-exclusive right granted to use purchased Content subject to these Terms.
• Subscription — a recurring paid plan granting access to the Desktop App under Trial, Pro, or Ultimate tiers.

2. Eligibility

To use the Services you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction).
• Have the legal capacity to enter binding agreements.
• Not be prohibited from using the Services under any applicable law.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or purchasing.

We may require additional identity or age verification before granting Creator status, processing payouts, or activating certain features.

3. User Accounts

Access to the Services requires a RIDDEV account linked to a valid Discord account via Discord OAuth. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Keeping your linked Discord account secure and in good standing.

You may not:

• Share your account, login credentials, or license keys with others.
• Purchase, sell, or transfer accounts.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, limits, or trial restrictions.
• Impersonate any person, entity, or RIDDEV Studios staff.
• Use automated means to create accounts or interact with the Services.

RIDDEV Studios may suspend or permanently terminate accounts at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, or any conduct deemed harmful to the Services or community.

4. Desktop Application

4.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and an active paid or trial Subscription, RIDDEV Studios grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Desktop App on devices you own or control.

4.2 Plan Tiers

• Trial — Free access to core features with usage limits. No payment card required.
• Pro — Full feature access billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• Ultimate — All Pro features plus extended capabilities, billed via Stripe.

4.3 Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans renew automatically on their billing cycle (monthly or annual) via Stripe. You authorize RIDDEV Studios and Stripe to charge your payment method on file at each renewal. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support before the next renewal date. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the paid period.

4.4 Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Desktop App.
• Modify, hack, or tamper with the licensing or activation systems.
• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or rent access to the Desktop App.
• Remove or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices.
• Use the Desktop App to produce Content that infringes third-party rights.

4.5 Updates & Changes

RIDDEV Studios may push automatic updates to the Desktop App. Updates may add, modify, or remove features. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

4.6 Third-Party Game Compliance

RIDDEV Studios is not affiliated with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Cfx.re, or FiveM. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Content produced with the Desktop App complies with the terms of service of any game, platform, or server you use it with.

5. Marketplace

5.1 Platform Role

RIDDEV Studios operates the Marketplace as a platform connecting Creators and Customers. RIDDEV Studios is not the seller of record for third-party Creator products unless explicitly stated. Transactions for third-party products are between the Creator and the Customer; RIDDEV Studios facilitates payment processing and platform infrastructure.

5.2 Product Listings

Creators are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of their listings. Product descriptions, screenshots, and previews must truthfully represent the product. RIDDEV Studios may review, approve, reject, or remove listings at its sole discretion.

5.3 Purchases & Licenses

When a Customer purchases a Marketplace product, they receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that product on their FiveM server(s) according to the license terms specified by the Creator and RIDDEV Studios. Purchases do not transfer intellectual property ownership to the Customer.

5.4 Free Products

Free products are subject to the same License terms as paid products. "Free" means no monetary charge; it does not mean unrestricted use or redistribution.

5.5 License Verification

Certain products may include server-side license verification linked to your RIDDEV account. Tampering with, bypassing, or spoofing license checks is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination and potential legal action.

5.6 Reviews

Customers may leave reviews for purchased products. Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free of harassment, hate speech, or false claims. RIDDEV Studios may remove reviews that violate these standards.

6. Creator Program

6.1 Becoming a Creator

Creator access requires an application and approval by RIDDEV Studios. Approved Creators may list products for sale and receive payouts of their earned revenue share, subject to platform fees and applicable policies.

6.2 Creator Representations

By uploading products, Creators represent and warrant that:

• They own or hold all necessary rights to the uploaded Content and have the right to distribute it commercially.
• Content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any third party.
• Content does not contain malware, viruses, exploits, backdoors, or any malicious code.
• Product descriptions, screenshots, and previews accurately represent the product.
• They will respond to Customer support inquiries in a reasonable time.
• They will keep products updated and functional for as long as they are listed for sale.

6.3 Payouts

Creators receive a revenue share of each sale after platform fees are deducted. Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect or PayPal and are subject to minimum payout thresholds, payout schedules, and identity verification requirements. RIDDEV Studios may withhold payouts pending fraud review or investigation.

6.4 Creator Taxes

Creators are solely responsible for reporting and remitting all applicable taxes on their earnings. RIDDEV Studios may request tax documentation before processing payouts.

6.5 Creator License Grant

By uploading Content to the Marketplace, Creators grant RIDDEV Studios a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, market, distribute, and process the Content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Marketplace.

7. Prohibited Conduct & Content

The following are strictly prohibited across all Services:

• Uploading, distributing, or selling stolen, leaked, or pirated Content.
• Uploading Content that bypasses, circumvents, or removes FiveM or third-party licensing protections.
• Distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, keyloggers, exploits, or any malicious code through any Service.
• Engaging in fraud, phishing, or misrepresentation of any kind.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or RIDDEV Studios staff.
• Initiating unauthorized chargebacks or fraudulent refund requests.
• Reverse engineering, cracking, or bypassing the Desktop App's license system.
• Using automated bots to scrape, spam, or abuse platform features.
• Listing products that infringe on copyrights held by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or any other third party.
• Uploading illegal content including content that violates any applicable law.

RIDDEV Studios may remove Content, suspend or terminate accounts, and refer matters to law enforcement without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All RIDDEV Studios branding, logos, software interfaces, website design, and proprietary systems are the exclusive intellectual property of RIDDEV Studios and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use RIDDEV Studios' trademarks, trade names, or other proprietary identifiers.

Creators retain full ownership of the original Content they upload. The license granted in §6.5 does not transfer ownership.

If you believe Content on the Marketplace infringes your copyright, please contact us at [email protected] with a description of the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement of ownership. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including content removal, under our DMCA takedown process.

9. Payments, Billing & Taxes

All payments are processed by authorized third-party payment providers (Stripe and/or PayPal). By completing a purchase, you agree to those providers' terms of service. RIDDEV Studios does not store complete payment card numbers.

RIDDEV Studios reserves the right to:

• Decline or cancel transactions at its discretion.
• Place holds on funds pending fraud review.
• Reverse transactions where fraud or policy violations are confirmed.
• Suspend payout processing during active investigations.

All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise noted. Customers are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies imposed by their local jurisdiction on purchases. RIDDEV Studios is not responsible for currency conversion fees applied by your bank or payment provider.

10. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Digital products are generally non-refundable. Subscription cancellations and Marketplace refund requests are handled according to the criteria and timelines described in that policy.

11. Suspension & Termination

RIDDEV Studios may suspend or terminate your access to any or all Services at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms or any incorporated policy.
• Fraudulent activity or unauthorized chargebacks.
• Uploading prohibited or infringing Content.
• Abuse of staff, users, or platform systems.
• Any conduct that RIDDEV Studios determines to be harmful to the platform or community.

Upon termination, your license to use the Desktop App and Marketplace is immediately revoked. Access to purchased products may be forfeited in cases of egregious violations. Sections 8, 12, 13, 14, and 15 survive termination.

12. Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. RIDDEV Studios expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. RIDDEV Studios does not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements or that defects will be corrected. Use of the Services is at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RIDDEV Studios, its owners, officers, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or cost of substitute services, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services, regardless of the theory of liability and even if RIDDEV Studios has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

RIDDEV Studios' total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount paid by you to RIDDEV Studios in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RIDDEV Studios and its owners, officers, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) Content you upload or sell; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (e) any dispute between you and another user.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be submitted to RIDDEV Studios support for informal resolution. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not permitted, in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in class-action litigation against RIDDEV Studios.

16. Changes to These Terms

RIDDEV Studios may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.
